Accounting Clerk

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Clerk to join our Finance team and play a key role in supporting day-to-day accounting operations. This position offers the opportunity to work across accounts payable, accounts receivable, procurement, expense management, customer billing, and general accounting activities in a dynamic manufacturing environment. The Accounting Clerk partners closely with Accounting, Supply Chain, Sales, Shipping, and Operations teams to help maintain accurate financial records, strengthen internal controls, and support business growth. What You'll Do


Accounts Payable & Procurement



  • Manage vendor invoices through Bill.com, including invoice review, coding, approval routing, and payment processing.

  • Verify invoice accuracy and ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.

  • Perform three-way matching of purchase orders, receipts, and vendor invoices.

  • Process purchase requisitions and purchase orders while maintaining proper documentation.

  • Support vendor onboarding and maintain vendor records.

  • Respond to vendor inquiries and help resolve payment issues.

  • Partner with Supply Chain and Operations teams to ensure purchasing transactions are complete and accurate. [Accounting Clerk | Word]


Expense Management



  • Administer employee expense reports and reimbursements through Expensify.

  • Monitor compliance with travel and expense policies.

  • Reconcile corporate credit card transactions and investigate discrepancies.

  • Assist with expense accruals and month-end close activities. [Accounting Clerk | Word]


Accounts Receivable & Customer Billing



  • Process customer purchase orders and maintain accurate records.

  • Generate and distribute customer invoices accurately and on time.

  • Coordinate with Operations and Shipping teams to support billing requirements.

  • Monitor accounts receivable balances and assist with collections activities.

  • Research and resolve billing discrepancies.

  • Support customer onboarding, account setup, and credit application processes. [Accounting Clerk | Word]


General Accounting Support



  • Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.

  • Prepare account reconciliations and supporting schedules.

  • Support journal entry preparation and general ledger analysis.

  • Maintain organized, audit-ready documentation.

Reporting & Process Improvement



  • Prepare recurring accounting and operational reports.

  • Support compliance initiatives and internal control processes.

  • Assist with financial system enhancements and ongoing administration.

  • Participate in automation, efficiency, and continuous improvement projects.

What We're Looking For


Required Qualifications



  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.

Preferred Qualifications



  • Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Two or more years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable, procurement, or related functions. [Accounting Clerk | Word]

Compensation & Benefits



  • Full-time, non-exempt hourly position.

  • Hourly pay range: $24.04 - $28.85, depending on experience and qualifications.
