Accounting Specialist (AR Focus) | $27-$30/hr | Contract-to-Hire
Our long-term client is seeking an Accounting Specialist who can take ownership of the Accounts Receivable process while building strong relationships with customers and supporting a growing accounting team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys problem-solving, investigating discrepancies, communicating with customers, and making a direct impact on business operations. You'll start with a strong AR focus and have the opportunity to expand into AP, sales tax, and broader accounting responsibilities over time.
What You'll Do
- Apply and post customer payments
- Research and resolve account discrepancies
- Manage collections through professional phone and email communication
- Prepare customer billing summaries and statements
- Support vendor invoice processing and AP functions
- Assist with reconciliations, reporting, and accounting projects
