Are you an experienced Accounting Specialist looking for a new opportunity in the Ainsworth, Nebraska area? Essential Personnel is seeking a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in accounts payable, accounts receivable, or general accounting. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of relevant experience and be proficient in accounting software and programs. This role involves working closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate financial transactions and reporting.
Requirements for Accounting Specialist:
2 3 years of accounting experience
Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, or general accounting
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
Strong organizational and communication skills
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to handle confidential information
Accounting degree or equivalent experience preferred
NetSuite or Coupa experience is a plus
Valid driver's license required
Responsibilities for Accounting Specialist:
Process accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoices, payments, and deposits
Reconcile bank accounts, inventory, expenses, and general ledger accounts
Research and resolve account and invoice discrepancies
Prepare financial reports and assist with month-end close
Communicate with customers and vendors
Monitor purchasing and expenses
Maintain accurate accounting records
Assist with process improvements and mentor team members
