Job Description

We are seeking a Collections Specialist to support the collection and recovery of outstanding receivables, including returned payments, fuel tax and audit assessments, civil penalties, and miscellaneous accounts. This position operates in a fast-paced, high-volume environment requiring strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities include utilizing skip tracing and other research tools to locate delinquent customers, applying applicable statutes, regulations, and agency policies, and communicating with customers through phone, email, and written correspondence. The role also processes credit card and check payments, prepares daily deposits, manages bank levies, bond claims, agency transfers, and coordinates debt referrals to the Attorney General's Office.
