Accounting Lead - CarePathRx (Health Systems Services)

Role Summary
The Accounting Lead - CarePathRx is responsible for leading the day‑to‑day accounting operations for CarePathRx, a newly acquired business within Cigna's Health Systems Services organization. This role serves as the primary accounting owner for CarePathRx and is accountable for timely, accurate, and compliant financial reporting while driving consistency with Health Systems Services and enterprise accounting standards.
The role provides direct people leadership for certain CarePathRx accountants and oversees others through a matrixed reporting relationship. The Accounting Lead - CarePath will report to the Head of Accounting of Health Systems Services and have responsibilities supporting business leadership, and cross‑functional teams to support integration, close execution, control environment maturity, and ongoing operational scale.
This role is a key bridge between CarePathRx's legacy accounting processes and Cigna's enterprise accounting framework.
