A growing local manufacturing company is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Accounting & Purchasing Coordinator to join their dynamic team.In this role, you will balance financial administration with vendor management, ensuring operations run smoothly, accurately, and cost-effectively.     What You Will Do (Key Responsibilities)
    • Tax Compliance: Prepare and file sales and use tax returns, along with other required state filings, on a monthly and annual basis.
    • Purchasing & Procurement: Manage company purchasing activities by sourcing materials and services, processing purchase orders, and maintaining accurate procurement records.
    • Vendor & Issue Resolution: Build strong vendor relationships and resolve purchasing discrepancies, including pricing, receiving, and invoicing issues.
    • Accounting Support: Assist the Accounts Receivable Clerk with deposits and invoicing; audit and reconcile account discrepancies to support month-end reporting.
    • Collections: Support collection efforts on past-due accounts while maintaining professional, positive customer relationships.

    • Trust & Integrity: Must be exceptionally reliable and able to maintain strict confidentiality with meticulous financial records.
    • Detail-Driven: Superior organizational skills and a sharp eye for accuracy.
    • Tech-Savvy: Quick to learn new proprietary and standard accounting software systems.
    • Experience & Education: Prior accounting experience is preferred. An Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field is preferred, but not required.
