Highlights

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to: Assist team with system issues to record/reconcile activities in clients' accountsReview the AR weekly to resolve outstanding ARVerify client's eligibility and benefits and obtain necessary authorizations for all payers as neededGenerate weekly batches to be submitted to insurance and follow up on held claimsReview and approve Patient Statements prior to mailingOversee insurance/client posting payments activities performed by Patient Accounts staffReview client and third-party billings for accuracyMake corrections to billings and client accounts as neededWork closely with the department clinicians to resolve third party payer issuesAnswer incoming client and third-party inquiries via phone and/ or mail correspondence. Description

JSSA is looking for an experienced healthcare billing supervisor to join our patient accounts team full-time in our Rockville office. This role will report to the Director of Patients Accounts and supervise a team of patient account specialists; oversee the posting of insurance and client payments to the proper accounts; review client and third-party billing/collection activities; deal with complicated denials; analyze aging receivable; and monitor the automated data entry activities.Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

Qualifications:

AA or BS DegreeMinimum of five years' experience processing third party billings and collecting appropriate reimbursement and 2 years of supervisory experienceKnowledge of third-party billing and reimbursement requirements.Exceptional customer service and communication skillsProficient with Microsoft Office with advanced knowledge of ExcelExperience with electronic billing
