The Accounting Manager will oversee accounting operations for a manufacturing organization, ensuring accurate reporting, strong controls, and efficient processes.

Responsibilities of Accounting Manager

• 
  
• Prepare and review financial statements, including trial balances, balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• 
  
• The Accounting Manager will lead month-end, semi-annual, and year-end close.
• 
  
• The Accounting Manager will manage tax activities and support audits.
• 
  
• Strengthen internal controls and standardize/document accounting processes.
• 
  
• Lead a team of 4–6 across AP, AR, Staff, and Senior Staff Accounting.
• 
  
• Partner with site leadership to ensure consistent accounting practices across locations.
• 
  
• Serve as a hands-on Accounting Manager focused on accuracy, process improvement, and accountability.
• 
  

Requirements of Accounting Manager

• Strong leadership skills and team management experience.
• 
  
• Well-rounded accounting background.
• 
  
• Manufacturing accounting experience required.
• 
  
• Multi-site experience required.
• 
  
• Strong financial reporting, controls, audit, and close experience.
• 
  
• Proven ability to build structure and documentation where processes are not yet standardized.
