Job Details

We are partnering with a stable and growing construction organization seeking an Accounting Manager to provide leadership over core accounting functions and support financial operations across multiple business units.

This role is ideal for a seasoned accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys developing teams, and wants to make a direct impact on business performance. The Accounting Manager will serve as a key partner to leadership, helping drive financial accuracy, operational efficiency, and continuous process improvement throughout the organization.

What You'll Be Responsible For
Overseeing daily accounting operations and ensuring the timely completion of all financial activities
Leading, mentoring, and developing a team of accounting professionals while fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration
Managing the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close cycles
Reviewing financial data and providing meaningful insight into business performance and operating trends
Ensuring balance sheet integrity through account analysis, reconciliations, and financial oversight
Partnering with leadership to support strategic decision-making through accurate and reliable financial information
Evaluating existing workflows and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, scalability, and internal controls
Supporting external audits, compliance requirements, and financial reporting obligations
Driving process enhancements and technology initiatives that strengthen accounting operations
Balancing multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and accuracy

What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
10+ years of progressive accounting experience with demonstrated leadership responsibilities
Strong understanding of financial reporting, accounting operations, and GAAP compliance
Experience managing accounting teams and developing staff
Proven ability to analyze complex financial information and communicate findings effectively
Strong organizational and project management skills
Advanced Excel proficiency and experience working within ERP environments
A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
