Accounting Manager

Kforce's client, a growing organization in Saint Louis, MO, is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate financial reporting. Key Responsibilities:

• Own and manage month-end close and financial statement preparation
• Ensure timely, accurate financial reporting and compliance with GAAP/standards
• Develop, implement, and enhance accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
• Analyze financial performance and identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of accounting professionals
• Coordinate external audits and ensure regulatory compliance
• Partner cross-functionally to streamline processes and improve efficiency
• Prepare and present financial reports and insights to leadership
• Drive process improvements and cost-saving initiatives
• Maintain accurate documentation and accounting records
