ACCOUNTING MANAGER

Accounting Manager

A commercial business in the Pittsburgh, PA area is seeking a skilled Accounting Manager to oversee all aspects of an accounting office. The ideal candidate will have a strong dealership background with a minimum of 5 years experience as an Accounting Manager, a provenleader with an accomplished financial background to help lead the company through the next stages of growth. The ideal candidate for this role must be able to assist with the implementation of services, policies, and programs, while partnering with managers and Human Resources, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.

Duties:

• Manage all accounting operations including billing, A/R, A/P, GL, and revenue recognition
• Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements
• Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting
• Research technical accounting issues for compliance
• Complete month-end and year-end close process
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls. And, other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Proven working experience as a Accounting Manager
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
• Experience with general ledger functions and month-end/year-end close processes
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
• Excellent accounting software user and administration skills
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Working knowledge of typical accounting software
