Accounting Manager

Location: Chandler, AZ

Compensation: $100,000-$110,000

About the Opportunity

A hospitality organization is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee day-to-day accounting operations and support the financial performance of a multi-location business. This position will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining internal controls, and partnering with operational leadership to drive profitability and informed decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Oversee general ledger accounting, month-end close, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, and fixed asset accounting activities.
• Prepare and analyze monthly financial results, budgets, forecasts, and variance reports for leadership.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies, and applicable tax and regulatory requirements.
• Support annual audits, oversee internal controls, and recommend process improvements.
• Partner with operations leaders to monitor labor costs, revenue trends, occupancy, and other key hospitality metrics.
• Mentor and develop accounting staff while helping scale accounting processes to support company growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory or management responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, month-end close processes, financial reporting, and account reconciliations.
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems and advanced Excel skills; hospitality industry experience preferred.
