We specialize in the design manufacturing installation and servicing of industrial refrigeration systems for multi-temperature distribution centers food service centers and cold storage facilities.We are financially strong and place extreme value on our team. We are looking for team members that want a long-term career with a company that will invest as much in them as they invest in the company.We are seeking a hands-on Accounting Manager to manage and perform the daily accounting operations of the company and ensure the accuracy integrity and timeliness of the companys financial records. This position reports to the CFO and directly supervises one AP associate.Please note that this is a 100 in-office position.Duties and ResponsibilitiesOversee and manage daily accounting functions including accounts payable and accounts receivableComplete general ledger administration and journal entriesPerform month-end and year-end closing and audit support activitiesPerform account reconciliations including bank reconciliationsEnsure proper submittal of monthly sales and use tax filings across multiple statesAssist with financial reporting and cash flow managementMaintain fixed asset program and accountingAdminister lease tracking accounting and reconciliationsCoordinate with external auditors tax accountants and regulatory agencies as neededMaintain organized financial records and strong internal controlsDrive improvements in internal accounting proceduresSupervise and support accounting staff while delegating daily tasksServe as payroll back-up for HR when necessaryQualifications and Requirements2-5 years of progressive accounting or finance experienceBachelors degree in accounting or related field preferredStrong understanding of general ledger accounting and close processesExperience with sales and use tax preferredExperience with project construction or manufacturing accounting preferredAbility to work well with othersSelf-starter with a positive attitudeStrong attention to detail and good analytical skillsExcellent problem-solving skillsAdvanced MS Excel skills as well as experience with MS AccessERP software experienceWhat we offer80 hours of Vacation120 hours of PTO7 Paid HolidaysGroup Health Insurance with strong company contributionCompany Paid Long TermShort Term Disability InsuranceCompany Paid Life Insurance6 Company Match on 401kEmployee Referral ProgramPre-employment and periodic background screening criminal drug screen and MVR if applicable is required for all positions.
