Accounting Manager

The Accounting Manager will oversee day-to-day accounting operations while ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and efficient accounting processes. The Accounting Manager will also partner closely with company leadership, provide financial analysis and operational insight, and lead and develop the accounting team.

Position Overview (Accounting Manager): Accounting Manager
The Accounting Manager will oversee day-to-day accounting operations while ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and efficient accounting processes. This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for the general ledger, month-end close, financial reporting, AP, AR, payroll, and fixed assets. The Accounting Manager will also partner closely with company leadership, provide financial analysis and operational insight, and lead and develop the accounting team.

Key Responsibilities (Accounting Manager):
• Oversee daily accounting operations including general ledger, AP, AR, payroll, fixed assets, and account reconciliations
• Lead month-end and year-end close and prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Maintain strong internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures while ensuring GAAP compliance
• Support annual budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and other financial analysis
• Identify and implement process improvements to strengthen efficiency, accuracy, and financial controls
• Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting team members


Qualifications (Accounting Manager):
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5–7+ years of progressive accounting experience with leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, general ledger accounting, reconciliations, month-end close, and financial reporting
• Experience with AP, AR, payroll, and fixed asset accounting
