We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our solar company and help manage our financial operations with accuracy and efficiency.

Duties

  • Maintain financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and payments.
  • Manage general ledger accounting activities including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close processes.
  • Prepare financial statements, budgets, and financial reports. Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts to support organizational planning.
  • Handle payroll processing and tax filings.
  • Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.
  • Assist in financial audits and ensure proper documentation.
  • Work closely with management to provide financial insights and recommendations.
  • Stay updated with tax laws, industry regulations, and best accounting practices.
Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA or equivalent certification (preferred but not required).
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the renewable energy or construction sector.
  • Proficiency/advanced skills in accounting software (QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets - for data analysis and reporting purposes.
  • Understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
  • Understanding of general ledger accounting practices.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
