Key Responsibilities for the Accounting Manager:



  • Lead, mentor, and manage accounting staff, including Accounts Payable and Payroll functions.
    • Oversee general ledger activities, account reconciliations, and accounts payable/receivable operations.
    • Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
    • Prepare and review financial statements, reporting, and variance analyses.
    • Support budgeting, forecasting, treasury management, and cash flow planning.
    • Lead audit preparation, compliance reporting, internal controls, and job cost accounting initiatives.


Qualifications for the Accounting Manager:



  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
    • CPA and/or Master's degree preferred.
    • 6+ years of progressive accounting experience.
    • Strong knowledge of GAAP, job cost accounting, and Percentage of Completion (POC) revenue recognition/accounting.
    • Advanced Excel skills and experience with accounting ERP systems.
