Accounting Manager – High-Growth Health & Longevity Company in South, FL

We're working with a high-growth health and longevity company that is backed by major strategic investors and focused on developing science-backed products designed to support healthy aging and longevity.

They’re looking to add an Accounting Manager to their Finance team. This person will report directly to the Controller and take ownership of key accounting functions while partnering cross-functionally on financial reporting, process improvement, and broader finance initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Own the month-end close process, including preparing and reviewing GAAP-compliant journal entries
• Oversee key balance sheet, bank, and fixed asset reconciliations
• Prepare and review financial statements, management reporting, and variance analysis
• Support forecasting, cash flow planning, and working capital management
• Partner with IT, Operations, Supply Chain, AP, and AR to improve financial processes and data accuracy
• Oversee the integration and accuracy of financial data across ERP, CRM, and other systems
• Identify opportunities to improve, automate, and scale accounting processes
• Coordinate internal and external audit requests and provide supporting documentation
• Help establish and maintain strong accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
• Provide guidance and oversight to junior accounting team members
• Partner closely with the Controller on special projects, financial initiatives, and process improvements

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and month-end close
• Strong Excel skills and experience working within an ERP system
• Experience with reconciliations, financial statement preparation, and variance analysis
• Experience overseeing or mentoring junior accounting professionals
• Someone proactive, resourceful, and comfortable in a fast-paced, growing environment
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally

$100K - $125K, depending on experience
