Accounting Manager

Responsibilities: Manage financial close process and prepare accurate financials to ensure timely reporting to corporate and joint venture partners. Ideal candidates will have 8+ years of progressive accounting experience within manufacturing as well as 2+ years of management experience.

The A.C.Coy Company has an immediate need for an Accounting Manager. Ideal candidates will have 8+ years of progressive accounting experience within manufacturing as well as 2+ years of management experience. Ideally, the candidate will have experience working with an international or global organization.

Responsibilities:

• Manage financial close process and prepare accurate financials to ensure timely reporting to corporate and joint venture partners
• Oversee cost accounting processes including inventory control
• Analyze manufacturing variances and identify cost savings
• Ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements
• Lead and develop accounting staff including supporting team development and employee engagement

Qualifications:

Required Education:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
• CPA, MBA or CMA preferred

Required Experience:

• 8+ years of progressive accounting within a manufacturing environment
• 2+ years managerial or supervisory experience
• Experience with large ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or JD Edwards
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal
• Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
