Duties and ResponsibilitiesPrepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards.Develop and deliver financial reports, analyses, and recommendations that support operational and strategic decision-making.Analyze financial and operational data, identify trends and variances, and communicate findings and recommendations to management.Reconcile general ledger accounts and subsidiary systems to ensure data integrity and financial accuracy.Ensure accurate and timely preparation, filing, and payment of all required tax returns, tax deposits, and related regulatory filings.Prepare monthly workpapers, account reconciliations, and supporting documentation for financial reporting and audit requirements.Partner with departmental leaders to communicate financial results, performance trends, and opportunities for improvement.Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities as assigned.Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance financial controls, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency.Lead or support special projects, business analyses, and other finance-related initiatives as requested.Maintain a high degree of accuracy, confidentiality, and professional integrity.Ensure work is completed timely and documented in accordance with established policies and procedures.Demonstrate ownership of assigned responsibilities and proactively identify opportunities for improvement.Support a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and data-driven decision‑making.RequirementsKnowledge and Skills:Working knowledge of Microsoft Office productsAbility to work independently as well as being able to work well in a team environmentDetail orientedAbility to hit deadlines and multi-taskCommunication skill at a variety of levelsFinance/Manufacturing industry knowledge (a plus but not required)Education and Work ExperienceHigh School diploma or GED2-4 year accounting degree (a plus but not required)Accounting experienceSummaryThe Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing the day‑to‑day accounting operations of the organization while ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial reporting.
