    Summary:

    Our award-winning client is seeking an Accounting Manager to join their team. We're seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to join our team! In this crucial role, you'll oversee all aspects of our financial reporting, ensuring timely and accuratefinancial statements while leading a team of talented professionals.

    Responsibilities:
    • Manage the entire accounting cycle, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit/collections, and invoicing.
    • Supervise a team of specialists to ensure proper allocation and completion of tasks with accuracy and efficiency.
    • Maintain a deep understanding of financial reporting and general ledger structures.
    • Prepare and oversee the general ledger, ensuring accurate financial records.
    • Lead the close process for quarterly and year-end financials.
    • Support the Controller in budget and forecasting activities.
    • Manage payroll operations, adhering to company policies and government regulations.
    • Analyze delinquent accounts and recommend solutions while maintaining positive client relationships.
    • Ensure timely filing of all state and federal tax reports.
    • Collaborate with other finance department managers to achieve department goals.
    • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
    • Respond to inquiries from senior management regarding financial results and special reports.
    • Partner with the Controller to facilitate smooth year-end audits.
    • Provide training and development opportunities for your team members.
    • Foster a positive and productive work environment.
    Required Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Business with an emphasis in Accounting (MBA preferred).
    • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in a similar accounting leadership role.
    • Strong understanding of GAAP accounting principles.
    • Proven ability to supervise and lead a team effectively.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficient in accounting software and financial reporting tools.
