Accounting Manager at Ascape Landscape and Construction

Ascape Landscape and Construction is a leading landscape construction and maintenance company specializing in commercial landscape construction and commercial landscape maintenance. We offer a compensation package with significant earning potential and career growth opportunities. This includes an annual salary of $110,000-$120,000/annually commensurate with experience, with opportunity for growth. We also offer health benefits after 90 days, and a 401k with a 4% employer match, paid time off, and vacation time.

The following education, skills and experience are required for the Accounting Manager role:

• * Bachelor's degree in accounting, managerial finance, business administration or related field;
• * 5+ years of experience in finance or accounting positions, including 1+ years of experience managing accounting staff;
• * In-depth experience and knowledge of accounting principles/theories (GAAP, FASB);
• * Demonstrated experience managing internal payroll operations;
• * High Proficiency with MS Office and job costing technologies;

• Responsibilities for our Accounting Manager iclude, but are not limited to:

• * Directing the preparation of financial statements and the financial analysis of the organization;
• * Managing compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements, internal controls and tax filings;
• * Creating and analyzing reports to identify opportunities to improve financial results or address potential risk to the organization;
• * Developing systems and processes to improve division and company results;
• Managing the payroll processing process; 
• Overseeing the AR, AP and general bookkeeping processes, in conjunction with the bookkeeping/accounting team;
