Accounting Manager / Staff Accountant

This position is ideal for someone with around 5 years of accounting experience who is strong in QuickBooks Online, highly detail-oriented, and enjoys being hands-on with the day-to-day accounting function.
What You'll Do:
- Manage daily AP and AR
- Handle expense reporting and corporate credit card reconciliations
- Perform account, inventory, balance sheet, and income statement reconciliations
- Support month-end close and sales tax
- Coordinate purchasing, receiving, and inventory
- Review and properly categorize expenditures and maintain accurate financial records
- Ensure customer billing requirements and documentation are accurate
- Support accounting for Shopify/e-commerce sales
- Track products moving through overseas factories and warehouses
- Maintain accurate product and item listings
- Identify discrepancies and help improve accounting processes
- Partner closely with leadership and serve as the primary resource for day-to-day accounting
What We're Looking For:
- Approximately 5 years of solid accounting experience
- Strong QuickBooks Online experience — required
- Strong understanding of AP, AR, reconciliations, and general accounting
- Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and accuracy
- Comfortable working independently and taking ownership
- Reliable, consistent, and committed to building a long-term career
- Energetic and comfortable staying hands-on and in the weeds
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative personality
Bonus: Experience with Webgility, Shopify/e-commerce, inventory, purchasing, month-end close, or sales tax.
