Accounting Lead - Key Responsibilities

• 
  
• Lead key components of the month-end close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• 
  
• Support budgeting, forecasting, annual audits, and regulatory reporting while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• 
  
• Coordinate workflow across the accounting team, mentor teammates, and serve as a resource on day-to-day accounting matters.
• 
  
• Partner with finance leadership to identify process improvements, strengthen internal controls, and support accounting system enhancements.
• 
  
• Assist with general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other accounting functions as needed.
• 
  

Accounting Lead - Qualifications

• 
  
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with 3 to 6 years of progressive accounting experience.
• 
  
• Experience in a high-volume, transaction-intensive accounting environment is strongly preferred. Financial services, commercial leasing, or banking experience is highly valued. Public accounting experience is a significant plus.
• 
  
• Strong accounting fundamentals, advanced Microsoft Excel skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
