Position Overview of Accounting/Grant Manager:


We are seeking an experienced Accounting/Grant Manager to oversee financial operations, including grant management, credit card and balance sheet reconciliations, accounts receivable, and monthly financial reporting. The Accounting/Grant Manager plays a key role in ensuring financial accuracy and compliance, especially with grant-funded programs.



Key Responsibilities of Accounting/Grant Manager:




  • Manage all grant-related accounting, including budgeting, tracking, and reporting.




  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and private grant requirements.




  • Prepare monthly financial statements and support the annual audit.




  • Reconcile credit card transactions and balance sheet accounts.




  • Oversee accounts receivable and ensure timely collections.




  • Collaborate with program staff to align expenses with funding sources.




  • Maintain accurate financial records and internal controls.





Qualifications of Accounting/Grant Manager:




  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required).




  • 3+ years of accounting experience; nonprofit experience preferred.




  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and grant compliance.




  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.




  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities.
