The Senior Analyst plans, reports and analyzes sales and operational performance for Oakley Retail North America to identify opportunities, provide recommendations and drive change throughout the organization.
MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
" Responsible for creating high-level planning and store level sales targets for measuring and monitoring organizational performance.
" Uses the sales targets to create high visibility daily and weekly store sales goals used for determining field and store variable compensation.
" Leverages data warehouse (BusinessObjects) to verify sales data, interpret and analyze sales and KPI results to determine trends and provide recommendations.
" Works with General Ledger and other Shared Services teams on internal and external controls, balance sheet analysis, etc
" Establishes proactive working relationships with business partners and develops methodologies/functionality to automate and streamline processes
" Participates in special projects and create ad hoc analysis.
" Partners with brand team on transformational brand projects.
" Partners with field leaders to highlight opportunities in sales and operational trends.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
" B.S. and/or M.B.A in Finance, Accounting or Data Analytics
" 3+ years financial planning and analysis and/or commercial finance experience
" Advanced Microsoft Office Skills (Excel, PPT, Word)
" Knowledge of SAP and/or BusinessObjects
" Advanced financial modeling experience and attention to detail
" Thrive in a dynamic and results driven organization
" Initiative Demonstrates willingness and ability to be a self-starter, taking the initiative to solve problems
