Basic Job Functions:
The role of the Accounting Coordinator will be as follows:
Collect, record, and balance daily invoicing, cash, credit card, and check payments
Process and apply customer payments, debits, and credits
Research and solve payment discrepancies
Submit various intercompany billing items
Assist with monthly sales tax filings
Assist and serve as a backup to the Credit Analyst
Process and reconcile purchasing card activity
Partner with other departments across org to perform analysis and evaluate financial results
Assist with general ledger accounting
Support other roles within the accounting department

Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma
Associate degree or 2 years of experience in Accounting (Accounts Payable, Receivable) or Finance
Preferred Qualifications:
5 years of previous experience with accounting, finance, or business administration
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Access, etc.)
Experience in utilizing D365 software
Secondary education a plus
