Responsibilities of the Accounting Coordinator
- Serve as a lead resource for Accounting Technicians, helping coordinate and prioritize accounting activities.
- Assist with the maintenance and preparation of financial records, reports, and transactions.
- Prepare and analyze financial, statistical, and audit support reports.
- Monitor and review budgets and expenditures for compliance with policies and regulations.
- Coordinate with district, county, state, and federal agencies regarding financial reporting and funded programs.
- Help implement and maintain accounting procedures, regulations, and reporting requirements.
- Track revenue and oversee accounts receivable billing and collections.
- Provide technical support, training, and backup for accounting staff and operations.
Preferred Qualifications for the Accounting Coordinator
- Ability to analyze financial data and prepare reports
- MIP Software Experience
