Community Legal Services, Inc. of Philadelphia (CLS) is a non-profit public interest agency providing free civil legal services to low-income Philadelphia residents. As the largest provider of free civil legal services in the Philadelphia area, CLS is both locally and nationally renowned as a premier legal services provider dedicated to ensuring access to justice for all low-income individuals and communities. CLS has ten legal units covering a wide range of civil legal services. In addition, CLS has a robust Administration staff covering departments such as Finance, Development, Human Resources/Operations and IT.
CLS is seeking a part-time Accounting Clerk (approximately 20 hours per week) to join our Finance Department. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and a high level of attention to detail. In this role, you will be responsible for processing payments and supporting the A/P Specialist, Billing & Grants Specialist, and the broader Finance team with various clerical tasks.
