Accounting Clerk

Pay: $17.00/hour

• Process invoices, payments, and receipts accurately and on time
• Post journal entries and maintain general ledger records
• Assist with premium and policy-related financial transactions
• Verify and reconcile vendor invoices
• Prepare and issue payments (checks, ACH, wire transfers)
• Monitor incoming payments and follow up on outstanding balances
• Reconcile bank statements and internal accounts
• Maintain organized financial records and documentation
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial data
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Generate routine accounting reports for management review
• Support audits by gathering required documentation
• Ensure adherence to company policies and accounting standards
• Maintain confidentiality of financial data
• Follow insurance industry regulations and internal controls
• Provide clerical support to senior accountants and finance staff
• Assist with data entry and system updates
• Communicate with internal departments and external vendors

• 1-3 years of accounting, bookkeeping, or clerical finance experience.
• High School Diploma. 
• Associates or Bachelors preferred.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of accounting principals.
• Good organizational and multitasking skills.
