We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to support daily accounting operations for a fast-paced, multi-location organization. This role plays a key part in ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of financial records, with a primary focus on Accounts Payable and income journal processing.

Key Responsibilities

  • - Process full-cycle Accounts Payable, including invoice review, coding, approvals, and payment processing
  • - Review, reconcile, and post daily income journals
  • - Verify financial data from internal systems and identify discrepancies
  • - Reconcile vendor statements and resolve variances
  • - Maintain accurate, organized documentation for audits and compliance
  • - Assist with month-end and year-end close, including account reconciliations
  • - Monitor expense coding to ensure compliance with accounting policies
  • - Prepare ad hoc reports and assist with special projects as needed
  • - Communicate effectively with internal teams to support smooth financial operations

Qualifications

  • - 2+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience (hospitality experience a plus)
  • - Working knowledge of accounts payable and general accounting principles
  • - Strong attention to detail with solid analytical and problem-solving skills
  • - Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • - Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • - Experience with accounting or property management systems preferred
  • - Professional communication skills and a high level of integrity when handling confidential information
