Location: Livermore, CA
Duration: Temp-to-Hire
Pay Rate: $24-$25/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join our team in Livermore. This is a fantastic temp-to-hire opportunity for someone with strong organizational skills and experience supporting accounting and purchasing functions.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Payable

• Set up and maintain new vendor accounts
• Enter and process vendor invoices
• Prepare and process payments
• Ensure accurate recordkeeping and timely payment processing

Purchasing

• Manage vendor communications and relationships
• Maintain and update item pricing
• Place purchase orders with vendors
• Review order acknowledgements and verify accuracy against purchase orders

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Accounts Payable, Accounting, or Purchasing preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and vendor management skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
