Accounting Assistant (Part-time)
International manufacture is adding a part-time Accounting Assistant to their team. We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Specialist to support the day-to-day accounting operations. This role is responsible for accounts payable and accounts receivable processing, expense report review, general ledger reconciliations, and maintaining accurate financial records. This is a great opportunity to join a well-established Charlotte company that offers part-time flexibility 24 Hours a week - flexible with days/hours (within a 8-5 time period) Hourly wage up to $26. an hour.
Responsibilities Include
Set up new vendors by collecting all necessary documents.
Entering and recording invoices
Research any discrepancies, missing documentation, or other issues
Set up ACH and wire requests to ensure payments are made on time.
Set up new customers by collecting all necessary documents.
Recording customer payments (check & ACH).
Correspond with customer and/or Parts dept when payments and invoices don’t match and the difference is not easily identifiable.
Review for accuracy and approve expense reports with the appropriate Manager
General Ledger Reconciliations
Journal entries for some monthly invoices and charges.
File maintenance- Scanning records and/or filing documents, including customer receipts and vendor invoices and digital copies.
Develop and improve accounting procedures by analyzing current procedures
Qualifications:
Basic Accounting principles
Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
