Description

BryantCorp, a family-owned developer, owner and operator of hotels and commercial real estate throughout the Southeast, is looking for our next accounting and finance leader. The role reports to and works alongside the company President. You'll begin with traditional day- to-day accounting duties and quickly extend to strategic guidance regarding buy, sell and development transactions, tax planning and portfolio management. You will own our general ledger and our business' accounting and financial data across the company and investment properties. Further, you'll be a strategic voice at the company. Over time this flexible role can expand on the operational front to include management of leases / tenants, treasury functions, incentive compensation, and involvement in many other areas of the business.Basic ResponsibilitiesAccounting - monthly close, audit and tax coordination, and outside CPA relationshipSystems – own the finance stack, including Yardi, and reporting that comes out of itCash management - accounts payable / receivableOperating company P&L - budget, allocations, fee structures, cash flow managementInvestment company P&Ls - hotel reporting and flow-through analysis, commercialproperty-level real estate accounting, lender and partner reportingTransaction support - Development financings and recapitalizations, financial models,term sheets, diligence, closingsAbility and desire to work in office for majority of week (Raleigh, NC)QualificationsAt least 2-5 years public or relevant private accounting experienceDesire to grow and learn in your role; you don't need to bring all the tools with you, butyou need a mindset of continuous improvementCritical skills include high attention to detail and ability to leverage technology, AI, andtools to enhance processNice to have experience in real estate, hospitality, property management, multi-entityaccountingCPA or CFA certifications are a major plusDesire to build a long-term career in a privately-owned and diversified real estatebusinessCompensation Range (commensurate with experience)Salary: $125,000-$150,000 per yearBonus: 10%-20% of salary based on project- and performance-based targetsProfit Share Bonus based on overall portfolio performanceBenefits:Medical, dental, vision, and life insuranceCompetitive vacation policies (we're a hotel company after all)401(k) with company matchDiscounted hotel staysTraining and career development opportunitiesAbout BryantCorpCulture-first family business that develops, owns and manages a diverse portfolio of real estate, including hospitality, industrial and commercial.
