Responsibilities include month-end closing, journal entries, account reconciliations, SEC filings, variance analysis, and preparing internal/external reports. The role involves leading projects, analyzing large data sets, and ensuring accurate documentation for audits and financial disclosures.
Requirements include a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance with 4-6+ years of energy industry experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and familiarity with US GAAP, SEC reporting, and financial systems like Workiva and Essbase. Preferred qualifications include CPA, data analytics skills, and Big 4 experience.
Ideal candidates demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational skills, and ability to collaborate with leadership. Flexibility to work remotely one day per week and occasional evening/weekend hours during peak periods is expected.
