Accounting Analyst - Real Estate Developer in Dallas, TX (Hybrid)
Our client, a global real estate investment and development firm, is looking to add an Accounting Analyst to its Dallas team. With a portfolio valued at over $100 billion, the firm has an established presence across major real estate markets and a diverse portfolio of residential and commercial properties.
This role will work closely with the Controller and property management and fund accounting teams, with a focus on financial reporting and analysis for a portfolio of market-rate residential properties.

With a portfolio valued at over $100 billion, the firm has an established presence across major real estate markets and a diverse portfolio of residential and commercial properties.
This role will work closely with the Controller and property management and fund accounting teams, with a focus on financial reporting and analysis for a portfolio of market-rate residential properties.
Responsibilities:
- Review third-party financial reporting packages for completeness and accuracy.
- Perform analytical reviews of income statement and balance sheet accounts.
- Evaluate monthly accruals and monitor debt service payments, real estate taxes, and insurance.
- Prepare quarterly and annual financial reporting packages for fund accounting.
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax professionals.
- Prepare quarterly financial packages for lenders.
- Convert third-party trial balances and budgets into internal accounting systems.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- 1–3 years of real estate accounting experience, preferably with residential properties.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical abilities.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
- Experience with JD Edwards, Yardi, RealPage, or similar systems is a plus.
$80K-$90K base salary, depending on experience
