Accountant (AP/AR Focus)
Location: Williamsport, IN
Pay: $50,000/year+, based on experience
Schedule: Full-time, onsite
Pro Resources is partnering with a well-established manufacturing company in Williamsport, IN to find a motivated Accountant to join their administrative team. This is a newly created position offering the opportunity to grow, learn the business, and make a real impact.
This role blends both bookkeeping and accounting responsibilities, making it a great fit for someone who enjoys variety and wants to build on their accounting foundation.
What You’ll Do:
- Process and verify vendor invoices, prepare payments, and reconcile statements (AP)
- Generate customer invoices, post payments, and manage outstanding balances (AR)
- Maintain accurate financial records across AP, AR, and general ledger
- Assist with journal entries, financial reporting, and account reconciliations
- Support job costing, data analysis, and internal reporting
- Respond to vendor and customer inquiries
- Help improve processes and maintain organized documentation
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required)
- Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP)
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets and accounting software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
- Open to entry-level candidates with a solid accounting foundation
