Accountant Key Responsibilities

• 
  
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual month-end close processes.
• 
  
• The Accountant will prepare journal entries and reconcile balance sheet accounts.
• 
  
• Support internal and external financial reporting, including variance analysis.
• 
  
• Maintain accurate documentation and audit-ready financial records.
• 
  
• The Accountant will collaborate with AP and AR teams to ensure accurate general ledger accounting.
• 
  
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial review activities.
• 
  
• The Accountant will identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, accuracy, and internal controls.

Qualifications for Accountant Role

• 
  
• 2–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or manufacturing environment.
• 
  
• Strong understanding of GAAP and general ledger accounting procedures.
• 
  
• Experience with ERP or accounting systems such as QuickBooks, Sage, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar platforms.
• 
  
• Strong Excel skills, including PivotTables and lookup functions.
• 
  
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
• 
  
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
