Job Responsibilities:
Manage all day-to-day accounting operations including A/P, A/R, bank and credit card reconciliations, general ledger maintenance, and month-end close.
Enter and maintain accurate records of invoices and expenses in QuickBooks, ensuring proper coding, documentation, and timely processing.
Maintain job costing records, track project expenses, monitor budgets, and prepare financial reports to support leadership decision-making.
Oversee billing processes including progress billing, lien waivers, subcontractor payments, and ensure compliance with industry and tax regulations.
Prepare, report, and remit sales and use tax filings, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with applicable state and local regulations.
Qualifications:
3+ years of full charge bookkeeping experience, preferably within the construction industry, with strong knowledge of job costing and progress billing.
Proficiency in accounting software and payroll systems (e.g., QuickBooks or similar), with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with internal teams and customers.
