Synerfac Technical Staffing is seeking a detail oriented General Accountant for a direct hire opportunity with a chemical manufacturing client. This role is responsible for managing daily financial operations and ensuring accuracy across the general ledger.
Job Responsibilities
Process accounts payable including invoice verification and payment scheduling
Manage accounts receivable by monitoring aging reports and following up on collections
Perform monthly general ledger maintenance and account reconciliations
Utilize Datacor ERP formerly Chempax for data entry and financial reporting
Assist with month end closing procedures and financial statement preparation
Maintain organized financial records in compliance with company policies
Collaborate with other departments to resolve billing or payment discrepancies
Requirements
2 or more years of professional accounting experience
Experience with Datacor ERP formerly Chempax is required
Strong understanding of AP AR and general ledger functions
Background in manufacturing or chemical industry preferred
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Position Details
Employment Type: Direct Hire
Salary: 60,000 to 70,000 dollars per year
Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
