Description, responsibilities & requirements
Main Responsibilities include:
Preparation of Compiled Financial Statements with/without footnotes
Annual set-up and maintenance of accounting books
Classification of transactions
Trial balance, closing, and end of period adjustments
Supervise the preparation of bank reconciliations
Supervise the maintenance of fixed asset depreciation schedules
Maintenance of prepaid and accrual schedules
Prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports
Write-up work and tax preparation with the assistance of tax accountants
Analyze trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenses

Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field
Preparation of sales and property tax returns
Supervision of staff accountants
Review work prepared by staff accountants
Job Requirements
B.A./B.S. in accounting or finance
CPA, candidate for CPA (preferable)
Has worked recently with Accrual Basis of Accounting
3 to 5 years in similar capacity in a CPA firm environment
Detailed oriented
Uses good judgment
Good Communication skills
Problem solving skills
Proficient computer skills including QuickBooks, Intacct, Excel & Word
Organized/Good Time Management skills
Uses appropriate discretion – handling sensitive confidential information
