Accountant

Kforce is immediately seeking an experienced Revenue Accountant in support of our enterprise telecommunications and mass media client based in Charlotte, NC.

Summary: The Revenue Accountant will support merger integration activities related to the migration and consolidation of Cox billing data into company systems. This role will focus heavily on revenue accounting operations, data mapping, reconciliations, and analysis while partnering closely with the accounting team to ensure data accuracy and reporting integrity. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting fundamentals, revenue and accounts receivable experience, and advanced Excel capabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Support Cox merger-related accounting and data integration activities
• Perform revenue accounting analysis, reconciliations, and reporting
• Review and validate large sets of billing and financial data
• Conduct data mapping and data validation between systems
• Analyze accounts receivable balances, credits, and revenue transactions
• Utilize advanced Excel functions including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs to perform detailed analysis
• Assist with business-as-usual accounting operations as needed
• Collaborate cross-functionally with accounting and finance teams to support integration initiatives
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records and reporting
• Support month-end close and revenue reporting activities
