Accountant (Remote)

Job DutiesDevelops, implements and/or maintains one or more accounting systems: Journal entries, General Ledger, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, etc. Reviews, tracks and maintains asset information in the financial systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with US GAAP and other accounting regulations.

Our client, a payment solutions company, is seeking an Accountant for a 7+ month contract role. This position is fully remote.   

Job Duties

• Develops, implements and/or maintains one or more accounting systems: Journal entries, General Ledger, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, etc. 
• Monitors and develops monthly reports of revenues and expenditures for projects.
• Provides record of assets, liabilities and other financial transactions.
• Reviews, tracks and maintains asset information in the financial systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with US GAAP and other accounting regulations.
• Responsibilities may include cleaning up accounts and tracking transactions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, CPA and/or Master's Level degree preferred
• 3-4 years of relevant experience in General Accounting, Capital and Fixed Asset experience preferred
• Experience with Oracle Fusion
• Strong understanding of accounting principles is important
• Familiarity with assets, P\&L, and balance sheets
• Ability to research discrepancies and follow data trails with strong intuition.

Pay Rate $58.00-$60.00/hour.
