We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Accountant with a background in Real Estate or Property to join our thriving Real Estate Development firm. This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned professional with a solid understanding of financial principles and practices, keen analytical abilities, and exceptional communication skills. This role is perfect for those who are experienced in Sage 300, Accounts Receivable (A/R), Accounts Payable (A/P), and Payroll. If you have a knack for numbers, a passion for real estate, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and manage the entire financial operations of the company's real estate portfolio.
2. Use Sage 300 for various accounting tasks including A/R, A/P, and payroll.
3. Prepare and present financial statements, reports, and budgets.
4. Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards.
5. Conduct regular audits and create strategies to reduce financial risks.
6. Work closely with the management to develop financial strategies and make key decisions.
7. Collaborate with other departments to streamline operations and improve financial efficiency.
8. Provide financial insights and recommendations based on company performance and market trends.
9. Manage tax planning and compliance with all necessary tax filings.
10. Participate in strategic data analysis, research, and modeling for senior company leadership.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is a plus.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in the real estate or property sector.
3. Proficient in Sage 300, with a strong understanding of A/R, A/P, and payroll processes.
4. Excellent mathematical skills and an understanding of data privacy standards.
5. Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost accounting, and cost control principles, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
6. Strong proficiency in analyzing financial data and generating insightful reports.
7. Ability to strategize and solve problems promptly.
8. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
9. Strong ethics, with a customer-oriented approach.
10. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and a keen eye for accuracy.
