Accountant

We are currently seeking an "Accountant" for a Contract role with one of our clients based in Phoenix, AZ. Please apply if you would be interested and available for it.

Duration: 06+ Months Contract
Pay Range: $23 - $25/Hr. on W2
Location: Hybrid / Phoenix, AZ

Job Description:

• Accounting Specialist (Contractor) supporting high-volume AP operations, focused on invoice processing and supplier account maintenance.
• Role is designed to support transaction accuracy, reconciliation, and research in a fast-paced accounting environment.

 
Responsibilities:

• Process high-volume invoices with strong attention to accuracy and coding requirements.
• Perform supplier statement reconciliations and discrepancy research.
• Maintain and validate financial data and documentation within ERP systems.
• Investigate and resolve invoice or payment issues in coordination with internal teams and vendors.
• Support data entry, reporting, and accounting workflow coordination across systems.

 
Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED
• Experience with high-volume invoice processing and accounts payable workflows.
• Strong attention to detail with ability to manage accuracy-critical financial data.
• Experience with supplier statement reconciliation and issue research.
• Self-motivated with ability to manage workload in a structured, deadline-driven environment.
