Accountant
Location: Queens / Five Towns / NYC / Lakewood, NJ
Schedule: Full-Time | In-Office
Salary: $90K$130K DOE
A growing accounting firm is seeking an experienced Accountant to join its team. This is a great opportunity for someone with public accounting experience who wants a professional environment with reasonable hours, including during tax season.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review financial statements and accounting records.
- Assist with tax preparation and related accounting work.
- Perform audit and assurance-related work.
- Prepare reconciliations, reports, and other accounting schedules.
- Work directly with clients and assist with their accounting needs.
- Manage multiple engagements while meeting deadlines.
Qualifications
- 12+ years of experience in a public accounting firm required.
- Audit or tax experience is a must.
- Strong accounting knowledge and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- CPA is not required.
