The City of Moorhead is accepting applications for an Accountant.

This position performs a variety of accounting functions and tasks, including maintaining and posting entries to the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory, fixed assets, and payroll, as well as working with the utility billing system. Those functions include compiling, preparing, and maintaining financial data and records, and ensuring that all financial data is recorded in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and in a manner consistent with established policies and procedures.
