About the Role
Join our dynamic finance team as an Accountant Level 1, where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate and timely accounts payable operations. Responsibilities
- Research and resolve accounts payable errors to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Serve as the primary contact for business partners and suppliers, delivering outstanding customer service.
- Process and capture invoices from suppliers and internal customers with attention to detail.
- Support internal and external customer inquiries related to supply chain operations and payments.
- Investigate and resolve invoice processing issues to guarantee timely payments.
- Conduct root cause analysis to prevent recurring financial discrepancies and aged payables.
- Manage timely authorization and documentation of utility invoices.
- Provide real-time payment status updates and support ad hoc reporting requests.
- Analyze ERP system issues and contribute to continuous process improvement.
- Deliver high-quality, accurate work products while meeting strict team deadlines.
- Prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
Required Skills and Experience
- 15 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver timely, accurate results.
- Excellent communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
- Proven track record of managing competing priorities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Preferred Skills
- Prior experience with AP systems.
- Exposure to supply chain operations or utility invoice processing.
