Accountant

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Accountant II to manage financial reporting, month-end close activities, and system administration for key financial platforms. This role ensures compliance with GAAP, supports operational improvements, and provides detailed financial insights across various departments, including Information Management and Clinical Engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare general ledger journal entries and ensure proper classification in financial statements
• Maintain and update financial dashboards and reporting tools
• Support month-end and year-end close processes
• Ensure data integrity across accounting systems (e.g., MEDITECH, QuickBooks, HPM)
• Perform system admin tasks for Horizon Performance Management and Business Insight
• Conduct monthly and annual costing activities
• Assist with financial system implementations and user training
• Review source data and supporting documentation for accuracy

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting, including general ledger and healthcare accounting
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP
