What You'll Be Doing
Maintain accounts receivable, including invoicing, payment processing, account reconciliations, and aging reviews.
Process payroll and ensure accurate accounting of payroll-related transactions.
Assist with accounts payable when needed.
Prepare journal entries and perform account reconciliations to support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
Maintain and reconcile bank accounts and other key balance sheet accounts.
Assist with the preparation of financial statements, operational reports, and ad hoc analysis.
Monitor accounting processes, investigate discrepancies, and recommend solutions and process improvements.
Create and maintain accounting procedures and process documentation.
Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, vendors, and business partners.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
1–3 years of accounting experience.
Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles.
Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Strong analytical, organizational, and critical thinking skills.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Self-starter with a positive attitude and a collaborative, service-oriented mindset.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently in a dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with NetSuite, UKG, or similar accounting and payroll systems.
Restaurant, retail, hospitality, or multi-unit accounting experience.
Experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
