Key Responsibilities for the Accountant:


• Prepare journal entries, accruals, allocations, payroll entries, and general ledger transactions.
• Perform bank reconciliations and support monthly and year-end close processes.
• Assist with financial reporting, audit schedules, tax filings, and supporting documentation.
• Maintain accounting records and reconciliations for affiliated entities and impact investing activities.
• Calculate management fees, interest income, and investment-related accounting adjustments.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and support accounting automation initiatives.

Qualifications for the Accountant:


• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience with general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Knowledge of nonprofit accounting preferred.
• Understanding of fund, investment, consolidation, or corporate accounting principles.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software systems.
